892 Naval Air Squadron
892 Naval Air Squadron (892 NAS) is a carrier-based fighter squadron of the BritishRoyal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm. It was formed in 1943, flying Grumman Martlets, and was the only operational Fleet Air Arm squadron to fly the McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.1.
The squadron was reactivated under the Joint Strike Wing in August 2020 and will now be operating the F18C Hornet.

The F/A-18 is a twin engine, midwing, multimission tactical aircraft.
